The Entrepreneurs Initiative
The Entrepreneurs Initiative-A Workshop Series
What is the Entrepreneurs Initiative?
The Entrepreneurs Initiative is a crash course for business owners on fundamental legal, tax and accounting issues, critical for the health and success of your business. Whether you are an early stage entrepreneur or an established business owner, learn what legal, tax and accounting issues affect your business so you can avoid all too common mistakes and plan for future success. Consulting with a lawyer or a tax professional on every issue is costly and time consuming. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge to identify legal and tax risks and avoid costly consequences down the road.
Join us to learn about:
-The tax consequences of forming a business
-How to protect your personal assets by following simple principles in your business operation
-Obtaining financing for your business
-How to protect your most valuable asset-your intellectual property
-What to look for when you are entering into a contract with a contractor or consultant
-What you need to know about licensing your product to others or licensing other companies’ products for use in your business
-Planning an exit option
-How to manage your accounting records
-How to prepare for year-end tax filing
The Entrepreneurs Initiative is a series of seven workshops. Each two-hour workshop provides an in-depth review of a specific topic. We invite you to attend all workshops, or just the ones that are most relevant to you.
