Technology Basics

This free 1.5 hour session is designed for those who need to develop basic computer skills. Participants will work with folders in File Explorer; learn how to minimize, maximize and close windows; create, open, close and print files; and become familiar with simple internet functions that are essential to operating a small business.

Technology Tools for Marketing Your Business

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how your computer can be your most valuable marketing partner. This includes an overview of how to generate professional marketing materials, use of basic photo-editing tools, email and e-marketing tools, website development and more.

Government Procurement

While many governmental and private agencies have special procurement programs geared towards minorities, veterans, and women, all business owners can benefit. We take an active role with these agencies in providing instructional and informational seminars on how to do business with the government.

We help businesses identify eligibility for different programs, and subsequently when certifies, how to connect with an agency’s procurement department to win valuable bids. We work closely with a number of agencies including the University of Arizona, City of Tucson, Pima County and others, to help provide for local microbusinesses.

Finally, we provide referrals to business owners who need help completing certification applications.
